It's hard to report on, due to typical secrecy and willful destruction of likely related records, but the so called CHAZ or CHOP that popped up in Seattle in 2020 is probably the mother of all police PR conspiracies. The truth now is so buried by outright lies from police and corporate news media that the full story will likely never be uncovered. But the president of Seattle's police union has since launched a media offensive and he's definitely noteworthy to stories about police PR, if you're ever in need of related subject matter.
